By The Game Awards là một giải thưởng được tổ chức thường niên nhằm tìm ra những tựa game hay nhất của năm; đồng thời tôn vinh sự nỗ lực của các cá nhân hay nhà phát triển game trong ngành công nghiệp trò chơi điện tử trên toàn cầu. Giải thưởng này cũng thường được ví như “giải Oscar” dành cho lĩnh vực game.
The Game Award 2023 được chia làm rất nhiều hạng mục giải thưởng nhỏ, trong đó thì Game of the Year – GotY (Tựa game của năm) là giải thưởng nhận được sự quan tâm đông đảo nhất từ giới game thủ.
